Synthetic FM was born out of pure passion for synthesizer music. We are hobbyists, not a corporation: three people who love electronic music and want to share it, discovering new artists, digging through Bandcamp releases and building playlists with care.
Mies is the founder, owner and format director. Black Onyx is music curator and host of Cold Synthetic Atmospheres, a coldwave and darkwave show. Moya81 hosts CHRONO, a journey through the pioneers of electronic music history.
Channel 1, Synthetic FM, plays Synth, Darkwave, Darksynth, EBM, Minimal Synth and Industrial. Channel 2, New Italo Generation, plays Italo Disco, Synth Pop, New Wave and Dance.
No algorithms and no playlists chosen by committee: just synthesizer music we love, live, 24/7 and free. We are not commercial and we never will be. The support from the artists means the world to us.
